A productive mission to the Kingdom of Bahrain
The NZ & Bahrain Business Chamber's inaugural trade delegation to Manama in February 2026 has concluded with the signing of six memoranda of understanding between New Zealand and Bahraini companies, collectively valued at NZ$35 million.

- RegTech compliance platform licence for Bahraini banks
Dairy & Food (2 MOUs, NZ$15M)
- Specialised dairy ingredients supply for Bahraini food manufacturing
- Halal-certified honey and manuka products distribution agreement
Education (2 MOUs, NZ$8M)
- English language and professional development programme
- University articulation pathway for Bahraini students to NZ institutions

- Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB)
- Central Bank of Bahrain (fintech division)
- Tamkeen (labour fund and SME support)
- Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry
